FA, SP. An introductory creative writing course. Students write in a variety of genres, including poetry, fiction, and nonfiction. Students read and analyze models for each genre, engage in peer review, and practice revision strategies to create a portfolio of finished work. Students explore a Christian perspective on literary art and the writing life. This course prepares for more advanced work in creative writing. Prerequisite(s): ENGL 101 or ENGL 102.
