SP. An introduction to the theory and practice of communication and conflict resolution. Students will investigate the dynamics of conflict, theories of communication relevant to conflict resolution, conflict resolution processes and strategies. Students will learn skills that will enable them to assume leadership roles in the resolution of conflict, whether in the workplace, in the church, in political forums or at the international level. This knowledge can be applied in a variety of contexts: friendships, small groups, families, church, workplace, and community.
