SP, even years. Paleontology is the study of the organisms that once lived on Earth. This course includes an examination of structure, habitat and relationships of those organisms, as well as a review of their distribution and life history. Processes of preservation are also examined. A broad spectrum of organisms is studied with emphasis on invertebrate animals. Also listed as GEO 313 . Prerequisite(s): GEO 152  or BIOL 160 . Corequisite(s): BIOL 313L .
