SP. In this lab, students will learn to differentiate between presumptive and confirmatory forensic tests. Students will engage in hands-on activities using GC-MS, FTIR, and X-ray fluorescence to analyze toxic substances and fibers. Advanced instrumental approaches and simulations will also be used to study poison-receptor binding and binding effects. Corequisite(s): CHEM 311. Lab fee: $195.
