FA, SP. An introduction to data science and analytics, including the management of data from multiple, heterogeneous sources typically found in a corporate environment. Students will gain an understanding of how to manage and analyze large volumes of data using data modeling and visualization software tools. Students also investigate the ethical considerations of data availability and analysis along with career options in the fields of data science and analytics. Not open to those who have completed DATA 202. Prerequisite(s): DATA 102. Lab fee: $10.
