FA2, SP, SP2, SU2. This course provides an overview of child language development as the foundation for appropriate assessment and intervention for children with communication disorders. Students learn key concepts and examine theories in phonological, morphological, syntactic, semantic, pragmatic, and relevant cognitive development, with the consideration of diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
