GERM 301 - Advanced German Language and Culture (4) FA. This course is designed to build your German language skills and to expand your knowledge of German culture. We explore key issues in contemporary German society. Course activities and assignments develop listening comprehension and promote fluency and accuracy in speaking and writing German on an everyday discourse level. We will review and learn grammar structures and regularly practice them orally and in writing over the course of the semester. You will meet regularly with the German foreign language teaching assistant outside of class for conversation on course-related topics. We will develop our ability to understand, evaluate, and value aspects of our own and other cultures. In this course and in the classroom, we will strive to recognize and honor all human beings as fellow image-bearers of God. Prerequisite(s): GERM 202 or equivalent.
