SP, alternate years. This course is an introduction to the field of art education in general as well as art education methods specifically for the elementary school level. This course includes lectures, studio experiences, and collaborative assignments as well as assignments to create art lesson plans, units, and a personal philosophy of art education. Partnership opportunities to work with area school children through service-learning hours are included. Course fee: $50.
