NURS 306 - Transition to Nursing: Learning Strategies for Success (1) FA. This course introduces students to thinking, learning, testing strategies, and metacognition that are required to be successful in the nursing program. Students will learn how to utilize clinical decision making strategies within patient care situations. Students will become familiar with test taking strategies used in evaluation, such as NCLEX and NexGen style questions. Prerequisite(s): admission to the nursing major. Corequisite(s): NURS 307 , NURS 308 , and NURS 309 .
