FA, SP. This course will examine multiple frameworks for understanding how Christian commitments can inform teacher identity and formation and guide professional practice. The course will include attention to how the Bible, with its diversity of genres, functions as an educational text, as well as to exemplars of Christian engagement with education and key facets of teacher and student vocation. A range of faith-informed practices will be examined as they apply to professional practice in educational settings. Prerequisite(s): a Foundations of Christianity I Core course.
