HNRS 230 - Concepts and Methods in Science (4) SP. In this team-taught course, students will investigate a variety of contemporary natural science topics and challenges, including sustainability, from multiple disciplinary perspectives. Students will learn foundational concepts, develop an appreciation for the process of science as it is practiced in laboratories and other research environments, practice careful observation, and consider social and ethical dilemmas. Students will also develop technical and analytical skills while performing laboratory or field-based experiments. This course is for honors students who are pursuing a major outside of the STEM disciplines. Prerequisite(s): HNRS 209 .
