SU2. Organizations are often challenged in determining a capital structure that results in minimizing the cost of capital. This course focuses on the “why” and “how” companies raise debt and equity capital from investors, and considerations necessary to make informed decisions to invest capital in future growth opportunities. Accounting information and financial analyses are used and performed to assist with the above decisions and to advocate with company stakeholders. Prerequisite(s): admission into the graduate business program.
