FA, alternate years. Advanced synthetic techniques that include the preparation of coordination complex ions, metalloproteins, and organometallic molecules. Special attention will be paid to air-sensitive manipulation and techniques. An independent synthesis project will be performed. Prerequisite(s): CHEM 241L or CHEM 240L. Corequisite(s): CHEM 330. Lab fee.
