SP. A course in statistics with emphasis on the collection and analysis of data in engineering contexts. Topics include descriptive statistics, experimental design, and inferential statistics. The development of probabilistic models for describing engineering phenomena is emphasized. Statistical software will be used throughout the course. Prerequisite(s): MATH 172.
