KIN 213 - Biomechanics (2) SP. A study of human movement based on the body’s anatomical structure and mechanical function. Includes a review of anatomical movement patterns with in-depth kinematic and kinetic analysis of loco-motor, manipulative, and sport skills. Students determine patterns of efficient movement for various sports skills based on physical and mechanical principles of human movement. Prerequisite(s): BIOL 205 or KIN 212 ; and PHYS 221 or PHYS 223 ; or equivalent.
