EDUC 337 - Infant, Toddler, and Preschool Curriculum (4) FA, alternate years. This course provides an exploration of the major approaches to development of a curriculum for infants, toddlers, and preschool-age children (birth to age six), the underlying assumptions of each approach, and the appropriateness of each approach for children. Special attention is given to supporting the development of early literacy and numeracy. This course includes a 6-hour per week field placement during the PK-12 school day. Prerequisite(s): EDUC 115 , EDUC 236 , EDUC 238 , EDUC 243 , MATH 221 , and SCES 110 , or permission of the instructor.
