A continuation of CHEM 101 with emphasis on kinetics, chemical equilibria involving gases, weak acids and bases, and slightly soluble solids, free energy changes, electrochemistry, transition metal chemistry, descriptive chemistry, and nuclear chemistry. Prerequisite(s): CHEM 101 with a grade of C or better, or the equivalent. Corequisite(s): CHEM 102L.
