FA. An intermediate-level course in digital filmmaking. The course includes further development of technical and creative skills, with special emphasis on the on-set world of independent fiction filmmaking. The goal of the course is to prepare students for COMM 351, which may be taken as either Documentary or Fiction. The course also introduces students to the process by which films are produced, the aesthetic and ethical challenges that this process demands, and how Christians working in the media should respond to such demands. Prerequisite(s): COMM 145, COMM 190, and COMM 249.
