BIOL 141 - Cell Biology and Genetics for the Health Sciences (3) SP. This course presents the structures, functions, and evolution of prokaryotic and eukaryotic cells at the molecular, subcellular, and cellular levels. Fundamental concepts of genetics are studied including Mendelian genetics and molecular genetics. The course introduces basic historical, philosophical, and biblical frameworks for the study of biology. Applications of course concepts to contemporary issues in biology are considered. Prerequisite(s): CHEM 160 or equivalent. Corequisite(s): BIOL 141L .
