BIOL 115 - Essentials of Human Anatomy and Physiology

FA, SP, SU. This course is a study of the major theories of biology as applied to human beings. The student is introduced to the concepts of cell biology, genetics, ecology, and evolution through the study of anatomy, physiology, and development of the human body and health. Students apply these concepts to contemporary issues in human biology, society, and the environment. Laboratory activities utilize methods of biological investigation, with an emphasis on human anatomy and physiology. Three two-hour sessions weekly. Lab fee.
