FA, alternate years. This course introduces students to various methods of teaching art in the secondary school and to professional standards in art education. It will also guide prospective teachers in developing a responsible pedagogical approach that they can call their own. This course includes lectures, studio projects, demonstrations, and art teaching experiences with students from area schools. This final component will be met through service learning hours.
