As needed. This course will focus on current topics and challenges that relate to infectious diseases. Some potential areas of focus include climate change and vector-borne disease, antimicrobial resistance, emerging pathogens, outbreak and pandemic response, globalization and infectious disease, and mass vaccination. Current challenges to public health will be investigated from biological, social, economic, and political perspectives in this interdisciplinary course.
