FIN 313 - Retirement Planning and Employee Benefits (3) SP. Students engage the fundamentals of retirement planning and employee benefits from the perspective of a financial advisory professional. Topics include public and private retirement plans, defined benefit and defined contribution plans, individual retirement accounts, group and fringe benefits for employers and self-employed as well as college savings vehicles. For entry into this 300-level finance course, students must have achieved at least a C in BUS 101 , BUS 201 , ACCT 203 , and ACCT 204 .
