LATN 101 - Elementary Latin I

FA, alternate years. For students who have had only one year of high school Latin or no Latin at all. This course will teach students the essentials of grammar and a basic vocabulary, and an appreciation of the Latin language, its literature, and its importance in today’s culture. Sententiae from the principal Latin authors will be read. Together with LATN 102 this course fulfills the World Languages I core requirement. No prerequisites
