FA, SP. A study of the foundational concepts and basic terminology needed for administering developmentally appropriate assessment. Skill will be developed in thoughtfully creating, selecting, administering, and interpreting formal and informal assessments. Norm-referenced, criterion-referenced, curriculum-based, and play-based assessment will be addressed for the purpose of developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), Individualized Family Service Programs (IFSPs), and Section 504 plans. Corequisite: EDUC 343 or EDUC 347.
