An introduction to the essential functions of the human body, including how tissues and organs operate and work together to help the body acquire, distribute, and utilize nutrients; move; eliminate waste; communicate between tissues and organs; and reproduce. The laboratory introduces basic physiological techniques in an investigative setting. Prerequisites: BIOL 141 or BIOL 161; CHEM 102, CHEM 103, or CHEM 160. Lab fee: $70.
