FA. Students learn the fundamentals of financial planning, including the legal, ethical and regulatory environment. In addition, students engage the primary concepts of risk and insurance from the perspective of a financial advisory professional. The common types of risks and insurance of covered include health, life, disability, long-term care, and property and liability. Throughout, students will develop a biblical perspective of financial planning, risk and insurance. For entry into this 300-level finance course, students must have achieved at least a C in BUS 101, BUS 201, ACCT 203, and ACCT 204.
