FA. A study of proteins, enzymes, carbohydrates, lipids, and membranes with an emphasis on the relationship of structure and function. Also included is the study of signaling pathways and current biochemical approaches to asking biochemical questions about structure, function, and signaling. Prerequisite: CHEM 253 or CHEM 262.
