An accelerated review of essential grammar topics and vocabulary, as well as practice in speaking, listening, reading, and writing. Students learn about the historical, cultural, and sociological contexts which have shaped the French language. This course is intended for students who are beyond the FREN 201 level but are not yet ready for the advanced level. Completion of French 203 fulfills the foreign language core requirement.
