PSYC 332 - Psychology of Learning Processes (4) A consideration of how research findings and theory relate to learning processes. Included are such issues as the role of reinforcement and punishment, methods of enhancing or suppressing performance, biological limits on learning, stimulus generalization, and discrimination learning. The importance of learning theory for psychology in general is stressed. Two-hour laboratory each week. Prerequisite: PSYC 151 or permission of the instructor. Recommended: junior or senior status. Not offered 2017-2018.
