PHIL 378 - Philosophy of Language and Interpretation (3)
FA. A study of the nature and sources of language, and of the most prominent theories and methods of interpretation. Special attention will be given to 20th century figures in analytic philosophy, hermeneutics, and literary theory. Prerequisite: Two or more philosophy courses, or one philosophy course plus junior or senior standing.
