CS 300 - Special Topics in Computer Science: Compiler Design (3-4) FA, odd years. An introduction to the basic constructs of modern programming languages and to the techniques for implementing these in the machine language of a typical computer. Topics include grammatical structure, syntax, semantics, storage allocation, error detection, and object code generation. Prerequisite: CS 214 .
