FA, SP, and SU. This course is a study of the major theories of biology as applied to human beings. The student is introduced to the concepts of cell, genetics, ecology, and evolution through the study of the anatomy, physiology, and development of the human body and health. Students apply these concepts to contemporary issues in human biology, society, and the environment. The laboratory utilizes methods of biological investigation, with an emphasis on human anatomy and physiology. Lectures and laboratories
