ARCT 380 - Internship in Architecture

FA, SP, tutorial. A practicum in which students work a minimum of ten hours per week for one semester in an architecture-related field under the supervision of a professional designer or design consultant. Students are required to record their experiences (e.g., journaling) and meet regularly with an instructor on campus to address the lessons learned. To enroll in this course, students must submit a written proposal to the chair for approval. Prerequisite: ARCT 103 (ENGR 181 is highly recommended to obtain computerized drawing capacity to work as a drafter in an architecture firm).
